Calm Timers
A candle that burns with your time
Light the candle and it slowly burns down until your time is up. The flame flickers, wax runs down the sides and pools on the plate, and a faint outline shows how tall it started.
It’s made for longer, quieter stretches: reading, studying, winding down before bed, or a calm classroom work period.
Good for
- Reading or quiet study time
- Winding down before sleep
- Meditation and journaling

Questions
Is the candle timer accurate?
Yes. The candle burns down at exactly the rate needed for the time you pick, so it reaches the plate as the countdown hits zero.
Does it keep running in another tab?
Yes. The timer counts real time, so it stays correct while you switch tabs, and the chime still plays when time is up.
Is there a real flame?
No, everything is drawn in pixels in your browser. It’s safe to leave running anywhere, including a classroom or a bedroom.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no download, and no pop-ups.
