A cube that solves itself as time passes

Press start and a scrambled cube begins to undo itself, one smooth turn at a time. The faces get more and more organised as your time runs, and the last turn clicks it into place right as the countdown reaches zero.

Choose a 3×3, 5×5 or 7×7 cube. Bigger cubes start more chaotic and take more turns to solve. Turn on turn clicks to hear each layer settle into place.

Looking for a speedcubing timer to time your own solves? This is a different kind of timer: a calm visual countdown, not a stopwatch.

Good for

  • Study sessions and homework
  • Pomodoro focus blocks
  • Focused work sprints
  • A satisfying screen for a classroom

Who it’s for

  • Teachers and classrooms. Put the puzzle cube timer on the projector or smartboard for transitions, centers, tests and clean-up time. It’s easy to read from the back of the room.
  • Kids and parents. Seeing time drain away makes waiting easier to understand than numbers alone, for routines like brushing teeth, screen time or getting ready.
  • ADHD, autism and visual thinkers. A visual timer shows time passing instead of just counting it, which many people find easier to follow and less stressful.
  • Students. Study sessions, homework sprints and timed exam practice, with a calm visual instead of a ticking clock.
  • Meditation, yoga and relaxation. A quiet, soothing timer for breathing exercises, stretching or winding down.
  • Work and focus. Pomodoro blocks and focused work sessions, with a mini window that floats over your other apps.

Questions

Is the puzzle cube timer accurate?

Yes. The turns are spread evenly across your time, so the cube is solved exactly when the countdown hits zero.

Can I use it as a Pomodoro timer?

Yes. Turn on Pomodoro rounds and it runs 25 minutes of focus, then a 5-minute break, four times over, with a longer 15-minute break after the fourth round. A fresh scene starts with each focus round, and the browser tab shows the time left so you can see it from other tabs.

Does it keep running in another tab?

Yes. The timer counts real time, so it stays correct while you switch tabs, and the chime still plays when time is up.

Is this a speedcubing timer?

No. It’s a visual countdown timer: the cube on screen solves itself while your time passes. To time your own solves, use a speedcubing stopwatch instead.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no download, and no pop-ups.
